search response group name by number RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All.

I am working as IT Service Desk and I am given limited access.
When I get requests from users to add them in particular response group, I am unable to find the response group name because they do not provide response group name instead they provide number associated with response group.

so my question is, can we search response group name using its enterprise number assigned to it.
    Powershell command is also fine

    Thanks a lot !!

  • Hi Jitendra Kushwaha,

You could run Get-CsRgsAgentGroup command to get the all RGS number and name in your environment, then you could verify which RGS you need to add those users to.

In addition, you could run the following command to add users to the RGS:

    $x = Get-CsRgsAgentGroup -Identity service:ApplicationServer:atl-cs-001.litwareinc.com -Name "Help Desk"
    $x.AgentsByUri.Add("sip:kenmyer@litwareinc.com")
    Set-CsRgsAgentGroup -Instance $x

Details about this you could refer to the official document: Set-CsRgsAgentGroup
