Upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 and now want to clean install on SSD.

Last week I updated my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (using the free update). However, I would like to purchase an SSD and clean install Windows 10 on it. Is this possible? What will happen with the Windows 10 license?

It's possible. The Windows 10 key is store in the windows store with the hardware ID of the computer you are using.

Install from scratch and when Windows 10 ask for a key just say next don't enter anything. Once you get access to the internet Windows 10 should activate itself.
