Aero Peek turns itself off within 15 seconds of booting RRS feed

  • Question

  • Every time I boot up my computer it starts with Windows aero on but within 15 seconds the screen flashes back and it's turned off. I've tried disabling everything but the most basic windows services and no applications and it doesn't turn aero back on. I have also tried reinstalling my video card drivers and running the aero troubleshooter which can't identify the problem.

  • I'm not really sure what did it because I removed a couple programs and turned off catalyst control center graphics and cpu overdrive (this I think is the most likely culprit) but it's not happening anymore.
