.net optimization service taking up high CPU usage windows server 2008 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have 3 application servers in our production environment

.Net run-time optimization service (mscorsvw.exe) is running at unknown intervals on 2 of the application servers only (server 1 ,2 and not on server 3) and many times a day

    -          mscorsvw.exe_32 and mscorsvw.exe runs on server 1 taking up to 60% CPU utilization together making up to 90% total CPU utilization.

    -          mscorsvw.exe_32 is runs on server 2 taking up to 30% of CPU utilization making up to 60% total CPU utilization.

    -          Service/process run for about 5-10 minutes

    -          mscorsvw.exe service is not found running on server 3 , not a single instance, How can I maintain my servers CPU utilization? I have found a script in one of the Microsoft article but it is not feasible to run every 15 minutes as the optimization service runs every 20-30 minutes. Does this service impact user experience? Is this an application issue?
