Exchange won't stay connected RRS feed

    I'm currently running Exchange server 2010 and everyday several users won't connect to it. I have a valid ip address that i can get on the web . I can ping any website, the exchange server, the gateway both by name and ip address, but exchange still won't connect. When i realase the ip thru the command promt the connection to exchange is restored and works for about a day and than it's gone again until i renew the ip.

    where you are releasing the IP address? client side or the exchange server side?

    Client those are connecting to your exchange, they are internal users or connecting from external network?

    hi,

    If you fix the ip address, does the issue still occur? Could you try that? May be your issue is related to your DHCP server.

    Hi,

    Are you hosting your own MX record or are you using Exchange as Pop or IMAP? Do you have a static IP address that mapped to your domain?
