windows xp will not boot RRS feed

    Hi i have an old dell machine with 2 hard drives, the primary one has a Linux OS on it (Peppermint) and the other has a version of win xp on it. however the win xp OS will not boot it gets to the black screen with the windows logo, fades out then a blue screen flashes up for literally half a second and then it restarts. does any one know how to fix this. btw i have no disks for it and dont particularly want to spend much money on it. can see all data on xp hard drive when i boot into linux

    I think that must be something wrong with your System.

    One way u can try to repair the XP OS. 

    But I think u'd better reinstall the XP OS in that hard drives .that 's the fast way..
