Re-download Outlook signatures

    Question

  • Hello!

When I configured my Outlook account on my company PC, I had a default set of mail signatures preconfigured for me (I assume they were downloaded from Exchange server). However I accidentaly deleted %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Signatures directory. Is there any way to pull these signatures from the server again?

  • That's not something that would be on your Exchange server. Do you have backups of your PC?

#1 - Have you checked your <Recycle Bin> to see if the folder is still there and recoverable?

#2 - Failing the above, contact your IT dept and have them provide you with the sigs (unless you have an accessible backup)

  • you could open a sent-item, copy the sig content into clipboard, then create new sig and paste content into that

Don [doesn't work for MSFT, and they're probably glad about that ;]
