How to Block helo command to send a Spoof mails RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

In my  environment if I try to telnet from the internet to an exchange server on domain1.com I can send an email as anyrandomuser@domain1.com to actualuser@domain1.com. That means i can sent mails from any mail id( from my domain) to any mail id. wheather it is internal or external

Is there a way to prevent anyone from doing this.

    Thanks in advance

  • What version of Exchange are you using?  If it's 2007/2010 , what are the settings on the receive connector you are attaching to (Assuming it's probably default).
