Internet Explorer Preview 11 won't launch RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm using Windows 8.1 and IE won't launch. The funny part is, it worked at first, but for some reason only stopped working on my administrator account. It works fine with all other accounts on my computer. I started with a fresh install and after installing some software, I noticed it didn't work, but no amount of uninstalling I do helps. I can use any software I want on the other accounts as well.

    Thanks in advance.

does it work after uninstalling some software?

Possibly IE11 Preview is no longer your default web browser on the Admin account. Installing software on the Admin account grants machine wide privileges.

  • Create another admin account.

Logon to the new admin > see if IE11 works in this new acct.

If yes, your old admin account is corrupted.

If it solves your problem, I did it. If it does not, my twin brother did it.
