Automatic updates service is hanged at the system start up in few machines in production environment. We have rebooted the server few times and yet the problem is same. Even BITS service is stopped and we are getting an error while starting the BITS service. How to fix this issue?

Hi,
What is that in the event log?Can you provide the detail error information?
In addition, did you install any products in these machines? Especially for anti-virus software.

That doesn't seem to help in my case. It is for the server with WSUS installed, but my environment doesn't have any WSUS servers. Can you please suggest, if something else can be done to find the issue?
