Folder in Windows 7 can't be renamed RRS feed

  • I' trying to rename a folder in Win 7, but the "Folder In Use" error message appears. How can I find which app prevents the folder from being deleted?

  • Hi Evo Logics.

    The free Handle tool available on TechNet Sysinternals site can tell you which program has opened a particular file or directory.

  • R.click on the folder,send to: send to any current user folder,then R.click on folder,rename...
