    Hi there we are currently pre deployment of Branch Cache Servers to some remote sites and i can't seem to find any guidlines around Sizing for the cache on a Hosted Cache server?

    I should clarify I know how to configure the size via NETSH or GPO I am more interested in the calculations to work out what size your Cache should be.

    Hi,

    By default, the cache on the hosted cache server is configured to use 5% of the hard disk space on the local hard disk. You could change this value. But for the calculations, it seems like there is no official article related to this.

    Hi Vivian yes agreed I have searched and searched but cannot find anything , I figure the best thing to do is look at biggest site File server run a report on all files <28 days that have been modified and the difference in size of said files over the 27 days and then use that as a baseline , Note based on accepting the default of 28 days for ageing.
