MS Project 2010 with Office 365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hellow all,

Does anybody tried to use Project Proffesional with Office 365.

it's works, but i cant find the way to see the tasks exactly as they are in the project (with summary tasks). if i use many Gantts (on seperate files), i cant see/save them through office 365 (it's only show one file at a time, so i cant work with multiple files).

    Thanks

    Os

  • I've not tried it; but I suspect you'll need to be more specific.  Office 365 is a "cloud" service to provide Exchange, SharePoint, and other Microsoft collaboration tools to clients.  Is it SharePoint you are using?

  • Yes - Project Professional 2010 connects up to SharePoint 2010.

Project Server is not part of Office 365 just yet.

Can you explain a little more what you are trying to achieve?

  • O365 in this case is SharePoint online. There is a SP limitation on how it renders parent/child tasks by means of "folders", is that what you are referring to? (after you sync a plan to a SP list you have to click on each parent task in a SP list to see its children)
