Outlook 360 forwarded message with PDF problem RRS feed

  • I'm receiving email with scanned document as PDF from Ricoh MP201 and would like forward but recipient receives PDF as text. What to do?

    Does this issue happen to one specific recipient?

    How about forwarding the file to yourself and checking the result?

    Besides, to help narrow down the problem, it is suggested that you can try saving a PDF file from Word and then forward it to see if issue continues.

    Thank you for your update.

    It seems this issue only happens to PDF documents from Ricoh MP201. According to my research, PDF documents created by different devices or software are not always the same. If you have other scanner, we can try sending PDF files scanned from other device to see if same issue happens. You can also contact Ricoh MP201 Customer support to check with them whether there are other users facing same issue.

    Besides, have you tried sending the PDF file on the web mail?

    Please feel free to post back with any updates so that we can do further research on it.
