  • You have two option here

    1. In the project site template create the folder structure which will be the same for all the project site ands upload common documents
then upload specific document as per the project need. In this you can use project site template create document library upload common document.

Like Common excel sheet or project deliverable document

It is not possible to automatically that folder will get the name as per project site name.

    2.  Project owner manually create all the project library then upload document.

  • You can create a Custom project site template then attach it from EPT. Once you will do it all the project which will use this EPT for creating project you create Project site which will use your custom template. While saving it as custom template select Include Content.

IN your Custom Template you can create your Project document library.

  • Thanks,

I followed every step checking Include Content, then I upload a file to the Project documents library and it is still not appearing at root Shared Documents, where I would like to have every project in a folder and inside its documents.

  • What do you mean by Root Shared Document if you are talking about PWA Shared Document then project site template is not going to give you solution .

If it is project document library available in the Project site then upload the document first then save site as template. so that document will be available for up coming project site.

If you want Document available in the every Project Site then you have top create site template as describe above and and in that template only you have to upload document then need to save as Project as Template.

Once you will upload document then click on include content and save site as template then it will be available for all the newly created project site form that EPT in which you will attach this project site template.

  • Thanks again,

the idea is to have at PWA Shared Documents all the documents that have been uploaded to every Project Site, but organized by folders. Every folder will be the name of the Project Site.
