creating groups RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All...

I have got a domain with ABC.com, I have got a dc, sfb fe, edge and reverse proxy... all AD users in this DC working fine.

I have got another domain si.com which doesnot really have a DC and stuff but is a part of O365 account.

Now I want to create groups like for eg pickup groups....Will I be able to create these groups with si.com users or only with ABC.com users..????

  • If you have a hybrid deployment with shared address space configured you can add both the users.

  • Hi Lexi,

As Jayakumar K said, you need to configure hybrid.

In the article which provided by Jayakumar, it describes the process of hybrid, and if you configure hybrid, you have to set up federation first

The following is the outline for hybrid process
    Step 1: Edge server configuration:
    Step 2: Configuration of Office365
    Step 3: Federation Configuration
    Step 4: Skype Online Configuration
    Step 5: Configuration Validation

For details, please refer to the article in Jayakumar’s reply.
