Three mail domains on one server. Three quarantine mailboxes. Is it possible?

    Question

  • Hi, all.

I have three mail domains on one Exchange 2013 (Version 15.0 ‎Build 847.32‎ Enterprise) server.

When first domain was created, it also was created quarantine mailbox. Then were added two more mail domains . Now all spam messages for all three domains  are going into this mailbox.

Is it possible to create for each mail domain personal quarantine mailbox?

    Thank you.

  • I don't think so. The SPAM quarantine mailbox is set at the content filter level. You could send messages to different mailboxes based on transport rules depending on the SCL I would think, but something you would have to experiment with. It may not be as effective as letting Exchange just do it.

    Also Build  847.32‎ is SP1 (CU4). I would upgrade  to CU12.
