On one of our domains (but curiously not the others), when Windows Server 2008R2 updates are downloaded to SQL 2008 servers it causes high CPU spiking on the servers. This spiking only stops after the install/reboot cycle for updates is complete.
So between the updates being Approved in WSUS and the reboot occurring the servers are unusable at times. A google has not turned up anything obvious, has anyone got any ideas why this might be occurring?
