The OSD Cache directory is empty?! RRS feed

    Hi!

    We have just started to deploy app-v from SCCM2007R2 SP2, and it works! (almost) (download and execute)

    After I have logged off the client-machine with my adminuser and then log in as a normal users the OSD Cache directory is empty! (it is for the adminuser as well)

    c:\Programdata\Microsoft\Application Virtualization Client\Softgrid Client\OSD Cache\ is empty!

    And then all our programs fails to start! Any ideas why this happens?

    Hello,

    How does the CCM-logs look when installing the package? What permissions are set on the directory?

    Errormessage in sftlog.txt says:

    The Application Virtualization Client could not parse the OSD file 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Application Virtualization Client\SoftGrid Client\OSD Cache\da711341-08e9-4e03-82a4-9022e515b0f0.osd'. Reason: XML parsing failure (rc 00000A25-00000002)

     

    And that's because the files is missing... Strange?

    Thanks znack. The security on the OSD-directory looked pretty much OK, but in the folder Softgrid Cache the users didn't have the list option enabled...

    Fixed it trough GPO, but shouldn't this just "work" if we haven't changed anything?
