  • Question

  • Hi Folks,

i have some problems while publishing a WebDAV site through UAG.

If the requested files exceeds the 2 Gbyte mark (some *.iso images or *.vhd drives), i will get immediately an err500 from UAG without further hints.

Accessing the same files directly on the internal WebDAV server will work without any trouble.

So does somebody know, if this behavior can be changed to support download of large files? Or is the 2 Gbyte a specific limitation of UAG/IAG?

BTW: I did already set the responce body exclusion on the trunk^^

  • Hi Denis,

In the meanwhile i've heared that the 2Gbyte limit cant be avoided since it has something to do with the way ISAPI filters integrated into IIS.

I'm now using a different way to access those files.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Kai,

I dont recommend using UAG to handle these types of transfer.   It can have a sever performance impact on your UAG environment because of how the memory is allocated during an transfer.

Have you looked into using SSTP, Network Connector to handle task like this?

    Thanks!
