Windows Search Does Not Index Outlook Emails

Question
-
Hello,
I have a question about the windows browser (instant browser).
When I do a search, there are no results from Outlook emails along with files or programs.
This happens to me since I updated Outlook to the 2016 version.
I have tried indexing solutions, and I have Outlook included but I still fail
Does anyone know what it could be?
Thanks in advance- Edited by Infor.faq Tuesday, February 7, 2017 4:55 PM

Hi,
thanks for the reply.
I've tried adding that entry to the registry but it does not work.
I do not know if I have explained well in the question. The problem I have when I search for words in the windows search, not in the Outlook browser. And it is in the windows search where I do not get results from mails (if I get results of documents, files, etc.). When I had installed Office 2010 if there were emails in the results.Regards

How did you do the Windows search? If possible, could you please provide a screenshot about the search window?
About the mails results, do you mean you saved the Outlook mails to .msg file in local machine? Generally, the message saved in Outlook will not returned when searching in File Explorer unless you save as the message to local drive as .MSG file.

Hi,
The problem continues ...
I do not know if I have explained well in the message.
Inside Outlook it works the search.
But if I use Windows Shell Search it does not work.
Windows Shell Search works fine for files, etc. but not for emails, contacts, etc...Regards

As you mentioned, there is no issue with email search in Outlook. Maybe you can share the detailed steps when you search for emails, contacts etc. with Windows Shell Search.Regards,
