Call Transfer option disabled on phone when phone pin-lock is disabled RRS feed

  • We have a number of network-only connected phones in public areas (Polycom CX500 - Version 4.0.7577.107) that have the pin-lock disabled. These have lost their ability to transfer calls unless the pin-lock is re-enabled. Unfortunately as the maximum time for pin-lock time out is 1 hour if we leave the phones with pin-lock enabled they will still time-out ager 60 minutes and so it is still impossible to transfer calls from them.

    Does anyone have a fix or a workaround for this?
