SOMEONE HELP PLEASE with the Month function RRS feed

  • So I'm using the month function and the formula I wrote is =Month(A2:A23) and I got 12 but when I use a different range like =Month(A24:A29) I get #value! can someone please help??

  • The formula =MONTH(A4:A29), when entered in a single cell, will return the month of the date in A24, if A24 contains a date. The other cells in the range are ignored. If A24 doesn't contain a valid date, or something that Excel can interpret as a date, the formula will return #VALUE!

    So check the value of A24.
