User defined settings in Word Options is not saved RRS feed

  • Several users report their personal settings are not being retained.  Specifically, a user has selected "Show white space between pages in Print layout view is not enabled.  However, afte several days, word options no longer retain their settings and this setting is no longer selected.

  • It is not that hard to inadvertently change that setting by double clicking in the document when the mouse is at a the top or bottom of the page.

  • Although the user does not accept this.  This is the most logical solution as only one out of 500 users is experiencing this.
