Xp driver on Vista RRS feed

  • Hi,everybody.I am a new user of Vista Ultimate 64-bit user and i have some problem on XGA(1024*768) Driver for Vista.

    1.Can I install XP 64-bit driver on Vista 64-bit?How?
    2.Can I install 32bit driver on Vista 64-bit?How?
    3.If all the problem cannot be abled to solve what can i do?

    PC info:
    CPU:Celeron D 346
    MB:ECS P4M890T-M2 v.1.0B
    Chipset(north-brridge)Stick out tongue4M890
    Screen Resolution:1024*768
    Shared Mamory:64MB(Max.)

    Please understand that it is not recommended to install Windows XP 64 bit driver or Windows Vista 32 bit driver on Windows Vista 64 bit, it may cause potential problem. Microsoft doesn’t have official solution for it.


    I did a research on ECS official website, and found the VGA driver for Windows Vista 64 bit is not released. As you know, it is hardware manufacturers’ responsibility to develop device drivers for their hardware devices to work with the related operating systems. Given the situation, I suggest you contact ECS Support to push them develop the driver in time.
