  • It depend on how you monitor particular service.
    1) Using Management pack template--> windows Service to create a windows service monitor

  • Hi,

    Do you want to get a specific service status for all the managed agent computer? For example, we want to get Windows Update status for each agent computer managed by operations manager. If this is the case, we may run the below sample script.

    $agents = (get-scomagent).displayname
    foreach ($a in $agents)

    {
    $b =  get-service wuauserv -computername $a -erroraction 'silentlycontinue'
    if ($?)
    {
    write-host $a ": " $b.Status
    }
    else
    {Write-Host $a ": unable to get the service status!"}
    }


    Save this to .ps1 file and run it in the management server. Here's the screenshot for your reference:
