Windows Experience Index RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I upgraded the RAM in my PC, and now the Windows Experience Index shows the Processor and Installed RAM as 'Not Available'.  It is compatable RAM as recommended by the motherboard website, and shows up in the BIOS. Re-running the assessment makes no change Also Windows had to recover itself today, the first full day after upgrade.

    Any ideas welcome with thanks.

    Cheers

  • Hi,

I would like suggest you check if the Windows Management Instrumentation service was disabled. If yes, please set it to "Automatic" and started it.

Also Windows Experience Index has a log file "%SystemRoot%\Performance\WinSAT\winsat.log". That may give some relevant details. We can use it for further troubleshoot.

Finally, some security applications may cause this problem, try to disable them or uninstall them for check.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards.
