I try to enable Enterprise voice and got Error Msg RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

I want to know what is the complete procedure to solve the following error message.

What I have read and understand is because the user account is domain admin and what I want to do is enable the enterprise voice in the Skype Server 2019 administration console without getting the displayed message

What alternatives do I have to fix it

    Warm regards MeVs

  • Hi MeVs,

According to the error message, you need to add the account to domain security groups CsAdministrator and RTCUniversalServerAdmins.

You need to go to Active directory users and computers > your domain > Users >edit the properties of the account you use to log in Skype for Business server 2019 control panel:

If it is no luck, you can see Skype for Business server 2019 help as the error message said.

In addition, you can check if there is any related error message in front-end server event viewer.

  • The user account that I have to enable is an admin account.  So the part of the message I need to follow is:

    • To manage users in the Domain Admins group,
    • use the Skype for Business Server Management Shell and
    • log on using a Domain Admins account.

    There are other possible causes.

For details, see Skype for Business Server 2019 Help.

So my only way to do it is with powersehll, dont you?

  • Hi Olivier,

    I ran theses commands

    Set-CsUser -identity “usernaeme” -EnterpriseVoiceEnabled $true

    Grant-CsVoicePolicy -Identity "username" -PolicyName VPpolicy

    and it works.

Let me rollback and tried what you posted here
