Microsoft Outlook Tasks - Changing A Company Field Name is Causing Issues, Not Working Properly RRS feed

  • While tasks are sorted by the company field, we are attempting to change the name of the company field, this is causing an issue with the sorting.

    For example, the company field currently shows "Company, LLC", when we edit the company field to show "Company A, LLC" the task moves to the sorted company category "LLC" and displays as "LLC". However, when company field is selected again to edit, the correct name appears, "Company A, LLC".

    It may be useful to note that edit privileges are restricted to one person in our group.

    Could you provide some screenshots so that we can understand the issue more clearly? You can share the screenshots to us via GBSD TN Office Information Collection ibsofc@microsoft.com. (Please include the thread URL in the message for easy follow-up.)

    Meanwhile, we may try to reset the view of the tasks folder and then see if this issue continues. To do this, select the Tasks folder, under the View tab, click Reset View button.
