BCS Connectivity

    Question

  • Hello,

I have connected SQL server to SharePoint using BCS. Initially it worked fine. A new table was added to SQL DB which didn't reflect in SharePoint Data Source Explorer. So I removed the connection and added back as a new connection.

Whenever I try to perform a operation it shows below error

I have deleted all the existing external list and cleared the designer cache here C:\Users\rraja\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache but still it shows error.

    Thanks,

    Revathy

Please check the Business Data Connectivity service in Central Administration to see if the external content types have been listed there. If yes, please delete them and then re-create the external content types to see what happens.
