Windows 7 64bit too long to update RRS feed

  • Hi Everyone,

    I have an issue, Windows update takes too long to update for almost a week until now.(Windows 7 64bit Professional).

  • What about internet speed?

    If internet speed is fine then try to reset windows update components.

    First of all, we may try turning it on in safe mode and clean boot with networking first, then try restart the update.

    The windows update troubleshooter may be a good idea, please try it.

    Try fixing Windows Update errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool:

    We may also try to reset windows update components to narrow down the issue.

  • Hi Sengupta,

    That's a good question, but my internet speed is 20mbps and its working fine.

    Also note that all of my windows clients are 32bit of windows 7.

    I have only one windows 7 64 bit which having issue on windows update.
