Utilization reports by Fiscal Period? RRS feed

  • Question

  • As briefly as I can:

Project Server 2010, not using timecards at all, with 13 fiscal periods per year - configured on the server. Where do I go to construct a report that shows planned/actual work, by fiscal period and project for selected resources? Also a similar report that shows planned utilization by fiscal period/project for resources. [Probably will end up wanting other permutations of that cube.] I'm assuming that Fiscal periods are only available on the server side and can't be 'pushed down' to the application level.

Thanks in advance for advice and/or directions.

To report on project data by fiscal periods, you would need to create a new report in the Business Intelligence Center in PWA.  And yes, you are correct that fiscal periods are not visible in Microsoft Project.  Hope this helps.
