  • dear all,

I had create one project like Project A using project professional 2013, with assign resource Alex 50% for 17 - 19 december 2014, save and publish, anc closed.

then i create another project like Project B using project professional 2013, and assign resource alex to with 80% for 18 - 25 december 2014, its must be over allocation in date 18 and i can see in web online Alex has over allocation.

but alert not show in project professional when i assign alex in project B at that time.

  • Hi,

In the resource tab of Project Pro, you will find the leveling options. There is a parameter which specify on which basis the overallocation is detected. By default it is "day by day" but if it has been set on a weekly or monthly basis, then an overallocation on a single day will not trigger the overallocated indicator.

Check this and see if it solve your question.

    Hope this helps,

  • I check leveling option on leveling calculation is set Manually and day to day basis.

alert over allocation come up if its on same project on one project file.

but if the same resource used on another project and different project file alert not show.

    any other solution?
