How do you make OSDResults run outside of a deployment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. I understand from reading OSD_InstallOSDResults.vbs how OSDResults.exe is called during deployment.

But it only ever works/runs for me if i run it during an OS deploy. How is the CTRL+ALT+DEL suppressed and then OSDResults.exe run and GUI displayed? Meaning if manually executing OSD_InstallOSDResults.vbs or adding the various registry keys manually never launches OSDResults.exe and displays as per the experience during and deployment.

I can see in the registry the RunOnce setting for %windir%\UDI\OSDResults.exe and it runs but it  never displays the GUI outside of a deployment.

I' am using SCCM with MDT.

Is there something unique in how the TS calls OSDresults.exe and to make it visible after a reboot?
