Background color of Word and Outlook defaults RRS feed

  • Question

  • Should be straight forward Office 2010

I have change and saved the page color of normal.dotm and normalemail.dotm. But when I open word or outlook email they are both white. If I open either normal files directly they are saved with the changes.

How do I get Word, Email to open new documents with the page color I have saved.

    Thanks

    SJ

  • It works here, using Word 2010. How did you change the color, exactly?

Also, note that I intentionally haven't commented on the page color for Outlook.

  • In Word, you must be in Print Layout view for background colors to show up, and you must have selected the option to "Show background colors and images in Print Layout view" at File tab | Options | Advanced.

  • Stefan

    Thanks for the reply.

I have Print Layout View selected and have selected the option already. Still getting white screen. When I change to web layout I see the color change.
