Trying to Display Data as two Sets RRS feed

  • Question

  • Here is what I am attempting to do.

    I want to first create two sets - for the same dimension.

    Units.

    Set1 = Unit 1, Unit 3, Unit 5

    Set2 = Unit 2, Unit 4, Unit 6

    Then I want to create a chart/graph using these two sets.

    I can only get ProClarity to do one of the following things.

    Units  (Units 1-6 Combined)

    Value

    or

    Units

    Unit 1 Unit 3 Unit 5 Unit 2 Unit 4 Unit 6

    Value Value Value Value Value Value

    Here is what I want it to Show

    Set1    Set 2

    Value   Value

    Does anybody know if/how I could do this?

    Thanks,

    Brent Freeman

  • Yes, select both calc members and put the dimension on columns.

  • Hello,

    You want a calculated membem.  A calc member will aggregate the selected members to give you a value.  You can either go back and re-select the members and create new calc members or you can right click the existing sets and create calc members out of those sets.

    So if I have two calculated members I could display it like this on a single chart?

    Calc Member 1         Calc Member 2

    Value                       Value
