Outlook 2007 Email Certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • Apparently Outlook 2007 is very, very picky about the cert is uses to sign/decrypt emails.

Does anyone know the form of the cert that is needed for Outlook 2007 signing or encyrption??

It should be an S/MIME cert. I personally used StartSSL
(http://www.startssl.com to generate mine. Also, you can use OpenGPG
with it or any PGP-style cert.

Hope this helps, and have a great day:)
