    Hi,

    We would like to find out which file-types are allowed to be used in our MOSS-2007 sites.

    We know how to figure out which file-types are blocked from Central Admin. Wondering if there is a place where it can be configured to allow only certain files to be used.

    Appreciate any help on this task.

    Hi,

    You can check DOCICON.xml file. This is present in 12 hive under xml folder. This will give you the mapping of a fille type with the icons.

    In an alternate way the allowed file types.

    I hope this will help you out.
