Windows 8 freezes doing Windows Experience Index RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just loaded Windows 8 in a new Intel i5 3570K, Asrock 777 Extreme4 computer.  Graphics is from the Intel CPU (no GPU installed).  Everything works well until I attempt to update the Windows Performance Index.  The update dialog box appears and the menu bar runs across about 1/4 inch then the computer freezes, requiring reset or power off.   No applications or other programs have yet been installed.

What might I try to correct this problem.

  • Hi,

Please try to update all the drivers to the latest for check. Remeber try to update the graphic card driver first. I suspect it's probably cause that issue.

    Hope this helps.
