Add column with start date in week format (1,2,3...52) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I´m integrating several schedules into a Master one. Some of these schedules are PDF and durations are setup in weeks.

How can I add a clumn that will display the start of a task but in weeks. For example if a tasks starts JULY 09, 2014 (7/09/20014), that days is in week 28. Can I show a column that expreses that date in terms of the week of the year that day is in.

NOTE: My timescale is already formated to see the gant diagram in weeks (1,2,3...52)

    Thanks

  • Hi Enrique,

In the options/general menu, select "W04-4" in the date format:

Then the start and finish dates will be displayed with the week number and day of the week (ie 6 for friday).

You cold also create a custom field with a formula using the ProjDateConv function with the pjDate_Www_dd format option. Doing this, you'll keep the default start and finish date as is and just display week number in the calculated field.

    Hope this helps,
