SFB Monitoring Configuration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have 2 SFB pools in pool pairing relationship. 3 SFB servers in each pool. Approx 7000 users.

    Services enabled are IM/Webconf/A-V/PBX .

Enterprise voice feature is not enabled.

Each pool has dedicated SQL servers.

I am in process of configuring Monitoring. As of now I have just associated the existing SQL instance for monitoring store.

My requirement is to have dashboard for reporting as well as to get QOE for A/V calls.

    Below are my query:

    1. Can i use the exiting SFB sql instance for monitoring store as well or I need to have dedicated server for Monitoring role.

    2. What should be the approach to configure monitoring for dashboard and other required feature. Is there any good article explaining the steps to configure the same.

    Thanks

    Pawan

  • Hi

It is recommended to deploy QoE DBs with SSRS and SSAS on a dedicated box rather than using CMS pool for it for performance reasons.

  • Hi Pawan11,

    Agree with Mark.

As a supplement, you need to configure call quality dashboard on a separate server.

Here is a similar case for your reference
