Outlook 2016 stop send/receiving with Exchange 2010 when cache is enable RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, we are having an issue with Outlook 2016 (yearly subscription) that when the cache is enable it will eventually stop sending and receiving from our Exchange 2010 server.

After closing and re-open Outlook it will be good for a little while.
With cache disable we have no problem at all.

The problem happen connected into the local network as well as outside and I have noticed that it only happen to non domain joined computers (for now)

I tried the registry key to disable the MAPI over HTTP but I doesn't have any effect as it's use for off site communication (I still gave it a try just in case).

Note that I don't have any PST files connected.

    Anyone with the same issue?

    Thank you

  • Have you received any error code when you try to send and receive?

  • Hello, no error code when we send and receive, it's just seems to do nothing, even when Outlook is working fine it doesn't do anything.
Disabling the "cache" seems to fix the issue but it would be nice to have it enable.
Note that the Autodiscover test are successful.

    Thank you
