  • Hi Sandeep,

Modify the protection group and run throgh the wizard. Run a CC again and se if it solves your problem.

If not, refresh the agent of the affected server, modify the protection group, uncheck the F: volume of the server and check it again, did you get any errors? Run through the wizard and try again.

If this doesn't solve the problem you replica could be corrupted. Run DpmSync -ReallocateReplica from an elevated command prompt.

  • Before you run the DpmSync tool please verify you system log and application log on the DPM server at the time of the error. Post the error logs here.

  • Hi,

Right click on the protection groups, choose modify disk allocation.../ click on the shrink link. You will probably recive a bunch of errors regarding that DPM can't shrink your volumes.

  • Hi,

DPMSync.exe will stop the msdpm service in order to do it's job and as a result the console will crash.  So always cancel any ongoing jobs and exit the console before running any dpmsync commands.

Are you still receiving the 0x809909D6 error ?
