Connection between Director and Edge RRS feed

  • How to setup the director and edge so that i can login skype for business  through the director?

    Note: Lync 2013 server is the same as the SFB 2015 server, so you could refer to above link.

  • Hi,

    You need to associate the Edge Pool (next hop pool) with the Director Pool.

    When the SfB client connects to the Edge Server, the Edge will proxy the connection to the Director.

    The Director then authenticates the user and proxies the connection to the user's home pool.

    Please could you give a high-level overview of your Reverse Proxy setup - what reverse proxy configs have you setup, what ports, and what your external DNS entries look like?
