problem with Extreme VM Connection ActiveX Control RRS feed

  • Question

  • For a class I need to do a MOAC lab that needs Extreme VM Connection ActiveX Control. I follow the instructions on installing it, along with making sure ActiveX is enabled in Internet Options, but even after refreshing I keep getting this message: In order to connect to the virtual machines, you need to install an ActiveX control. I have a Windows 8 laptop with IE 10.

  • Hi,

still no luck with your multiple posts? to different forums?

try asking the website where you are doing the coarse from.... Microsoft does not publish or support the xtreme VM activeX control

    You've been busy? http://www.bing.com/search?q=download+xtreme+vm+connection+activex+control&qs=n&form=QBRE&pq=download+xtreme+vm+connection+activex+control&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk=

I couldn't find who publishes it.... the only download link was from a shareware site <sic>..... probably its just not compatible with newer versions of IE for security/malware reasons.
