Networking issue with co-existing Windows 2008 Server R2 and Ubuntu 12.0.4 RRS feed

  • Hi

I have Hyper-V configured on Windows 8 Pro. I had earlier installed Ubuntu 12.0.4 and it was working fine, including the ability to communicate with the host OS and internet through a Virtual Internal Switch. I then installed Windows 2008 R2 on the same Hyper-V server, also configured to use the same virtual switch as Ubuntu. The Windows 2008 server had network access that day, but the next day both servers stopped connecting to the network. Since then, I have configured a Virtual External switch on hyper v through which the Windows server is able to connect to the LAN and the internet. However, ubuntu is not able to connect to the network through either the internal or the external switch.

The screenshot below shows the network connections on the host computer, and vEthernet (IntSwitch) is the one through which I am trying to connect Ubuntu.

    Thanks in Advance
