Upgrated to Office Ultimate so that I could upload PowerPoint slides to my SharePoint Online site. Still does not work

Question
-
I have SharePoint Online and Office Ultimate. I cannot successful upload slides into the SharePoint site. The problem comes with the following error message:
https://address.microsoftonline.com/SubScript/Nameofsite/ is not accessible. Either this location does not exist or you might not have permission to use this network resource.
It does exsist and I own the site... Microsoft is having a very hard time with this as well.- Changed type Daniel Trautman Tuesday, March 2, 2010 11:01 PM Issue needs to be set to resolved/fixed

I have seen customers have mixed results with Office Ultimate 2007 and slide libraries. Even though documentation indicates it works with publishing slides, it doesn't always function properly. Only Professional Plus and Enterprise are know to work without any issues.

Hey Scrambleman, can you tell me if you have the service client installed and signed in? Also, can you give me the specific steps you're taking and where you get the error in the sequence of steps? Thx.

I sam having the same issue. I have created a Document Center and added 3 libraries (Documents, Spreadsheets and slides). I can upload into first 2 - but not the slide library. I am site Admin and no matter what I try - i cannot get a file uploaded.
Using Vista Enterprise and SP '07.

I do have the same problem. Please let me know if anyone found the solution for it.
Thanks!Monday, September 21, 2009 8:34 AM -
We too had this issue and we found that it occurs only on Vista systems that have the WebClient service disabled. We enabled that service and users are now able to publish slide libraries without issue.

I was also facing the same Problem. I was successfully able to resolve the issue.
The OS that i was using was Server 2008 R2. It is an issue with the Web Client Service. I installed the Desktop Experience Feature on my Server and then started the Web Client Service. Doing this solved my Problem. You can also check the following link to get the exact steps that i followed to solve this issue Problem in Uploading Slides to Slide Library in SharePoint

I am having the same problem as Scrambleman, and have tried a few fixes, to no avail.
Setup:
1) Windows Server 2008 R2
2) MOSS 2007 installed in Standalone running off SQL2005 (proof of concept)
3) Running SharePoint on a web exposed site, using IIS
4) created Slide Library
5) Users have Office 2007 Enterprise or Plus
Symptoms:
1) Verbatim of Scramblemans observations of site not accessible when publishing through PowerPoint
2) Thumbnails not showing in Slide Library
3) On a subsite of the one I am working with, the Site Settings > Site Features > Office SharePoint Server Publishing is deactivated. If I click "Activate," I get an "Error, File Not Found Page"
Efforts Thus far:
1) Activated "Office SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" in Site Settings > Site Features
2) Activated Desktop Experience, restarted server, started Web Client Services, and restarted the SharePoint Site (per Anshul's Instructions: http://sharepoint2010blog.blogspot.com/2010/01/problem-in-uploading-slides-to-slide.html)
3) Users can map a network folder to the Slide Library and drop in files via Windows Explorer, so permissions and access shouldn't be an issue. This has been achieved from both the Intranet and Internet access of the SharePoint Site.
Symptoms have been consistent through all the efforts thus far. Nothing has been gained, or lost.Monday, March 1, 2010 5:59 PM -

Adding Desktop Experience Feature and restarting server after installation have fixed it. I'm now able to publish Slides from Power Point to SharePoint successfully.Monday, August 16, 2010 5:28 PM

I am having the same issue with Office Professional Plus 2010 and the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). I am an administator, but I cannot publish to the slide library.
Any ideas out there for how to fix this when SharePoint is hosted?
Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.
