Powershell to Convert .eml files to .msg RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi ,

I have more than 1million .eml files along with attachments sitting in a local folder. I need to convert them into .msg files using powershell scripts. Can this be done without using 3rd party apis or freewares ? I am quite new to the MS technologies. Requesting your help to find the best way to do this.

  • There is no CmdLet or tool in PowerShell that can convert mail formats.

  • Then what is the best way to do this ?

Also, in the below post, talks about doing the reverse.

That presumes there is a way to do it.

You will need to do this research on your own I'm afraid. This is not a "research solutions for me" forum but rather a forum where we answer specific scripting questions.
