Exchange Resource mailboxes are displayed in alphabetical order RRS feed

  • HI,

     We are using Exchange 2007 SP1.I have created few Exchange resource mailboxes but they are not getting displayed in alphabetical order.Could someone suggest me solution for this.

  • Hi,

     

    From your description, I know that your issue is that the resource mailboxes are not displayed correctly in GAL according to alphabetical order. You need to check the following:

     

    <1>Check whether the issue occurs in Outlook, OWA or both

    <2>Check whether all users have this issue or just the specific users

    <3>If the issue is in OWA, check the way of your All Rooms’ arrange

    For Example please find the below two resource mailboxes.

    R_MR_DUR_Committee room

    R_MR_Col_Clapham

    In this example R_MR_Col_Clapham should display first in the GAL but this is displayed after R_MR_DUR_Committee room.I hope this will help..
