Cannot open URL through Direct Access RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

i'm trying to access a URL https://url1.mydomain.com:8003 & i am able to browse it using direct access

When i enter my uername & password at this at https://url1.mydomain.com:8003 i get redirected to another URL https://url2.mydomain.com:8003 and i get error -

    This site can’t be reached

url2.mydomain.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
Search Google for url2 mydomain 8003 HTML AppsLocalLogin

Do i need to add the second URL somewhere.

    URL 1 - IP address

    URL 2 - IP Address

I can ping both URLS from internal DNS - Do i need to define URL2 XX.XX.205.XX subnet on direct Access?

I have verified there is a DNS entry for both URLS on my internal DNS.

  • Hi pumping_iron,

Please check if you can use nslookup to resolve url2.mydomain.com to correct IP address on the client?

If not, please add the record to the host file on the client and try again.

    Best Regards,
